ASOC is run by a
group of dedicated volunteers who are students currently studying
Actuarial Studies at UNSW. ASOC is always keen to have enthusiastic and
dedicated people on the team. You can get involved with ASOC on three
different levels!
- Volunteers
- ASOC runs numerous social and careers events throughout the year. We
often require several volunteers to help out on the day. To volunteer
at an event, you can register your interest by filling out this Volunteers Signup Form, ASOC will contact you should any opportunities arise.
- Event Coordinators
- You can also get involved with organizing ASOC events as a event
coordinator. These events include Poker Night, Amazing Race and the
Annual Ball. Applications are usually open in the beginning of the year.
- Execs
- Lastly, you can join ASOC as an executive member (ASOC exec).
Elections for ASOC execs run at the end of every year and during the
year should a position need to be filled. To run for a position in ASOC
elections, you must have previous volunteering experience within ASOC.
There are also certain criterion applicants must fulfill before being
allowed to run for elections.
