Second Round of Voting for Social Director

Update on Second Round of Voting - 31/5/09

Following discussions between the candidates and the election committee, both candidates have agreed to cancel the online general election and leave the election of the Social director to the ASOC executive committee.

In light of this, the ASOC executives will vote and elect a Social director from the two remaining candidates, Karen Wang and Stephanie Kam at the next executive meeting. Results will be announced as they become available.

At the conclusion of the vote counting procedure, we were unable to determine a clear winner between two candidates as neither reached the required quota. As such, the election committee has decided to have a second round of voting.  Second round voting will only be available online.

The winner will be the candidate with the greater number of votes. If after the second round of voting, both candidates have the same number of votes, then there will be an executive committee vote to determine the new Social Director.

Please submit your vote for either of the following two candidates:
  • Karen Wang
  • Stephanie Kam
